Itinerary

• Day 01+02
• Travel, arrive Arusha and overnight Serena Mountain Village or Arusha Coffee Lodge.
•  
• Day 03
• This morning is yours to enjoy at leisure. Perhaps take a guided walk around Lake Duluti, lead by the lodge’s naturalist (book directly at the Serena). After lunch depart on your lodge safari to Lake Manyara Park. Enjoy the late afternoon at leisure. Overnight Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.

• Day 04+05
• Morning game drive in the park. Lake Manyara National Park is most famed for its tree climbing lions that may be seen (if you are very lucky) sleeping amongst the branches of acacia trees. Enjoy lunch back at the lodge. Continue to the Serengeti National Park through the vast African plains. You will arrive at your lodge late afternoon game viewing enroute. Enjoy game drives in the park. An optional balloon ride may be taken next morning. 2 nights Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

• Day 06+07
• Continue to Ngorongoro Crater, game driving on the way. Enjoy a picnic lunch enroute. Full day crater tour. Game drives into the crater are offered. Optional walks and masai village visits are available at extra cost. 2 nights Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

• Day 08
• Proceed to Tarangire Park where you will enjoy lunch at your lodge before continuing on an afternoon game drive. Overnight Tarangire Sopa Lodge

• Day 09
• Tranfer by road to Arusha and onward to your lodge located near Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight KIA lodge.

• Day 10+11
• Fly to Kigali, Rwanda. On arrival you will collected and driven to your lodge. Depart next morning to the park gate. Here you will be met by your tracker and proceed for your first gorilla visit with the day spent tracking the mountain gorillas. 2 nights Gorilla Mountain View Lodge or Volcanoes Virunga Lodge or Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge.

• Day 12
• Today you will experience your second gorilla trek. Following your trek, savor the memories of the morning hike and gorilla encounter with a relaxing afternoon at leisure visiting the farmlands, villages and markets that surround Kinigi and Musanze towns. After lunch you will drive back to Kigali. Overnight Kigali Serena Hotel.

• Day 13+14
• This morning you will have a Kigali City Tour including a visit to the Genocide Museum and the local market. You will be transferred back to Kigali airport to connect on your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Connect with your international flight back to Europe. Next morning your will arrive in Europe. Connect with your flight back to USA.
